THE COUNTRY HAS VOTED! THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN. SO NOW LET’S UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY BARGAINED FOR!
Donald J. Trump has been elected the 47th President of the United States. He has defeated Vice-President Kamala Harris.
So this is what happened. The BLUE WALL, the best predictor of the Democrats ability to win just fell apart. Trump took Pennsylvania, and eventually took Wisconsin which made him President Elect. He out-performed Kamala Harris in all the states that counted. The Republicans won control of the U.S. Senate, and may even win the House, most likely to be called sometime during the next few days.
So what does this mean? Donald Trump is the winner of the presidential election and he will return to the White House as America’s 47th President of the United States. For so many of us that had so many high hopes for a woman of color who had absolutely and undisputedly a historic presidential run, ran a flawless election campaign with massive crowds and a campaign full of hope and promise, But that even wasn’t enough. The country doesn’t want change, and they still want to look back to history and not look into their future.
When Trump lost four years ago, he refused to accept the outcome of the election in which he lost running against Joe Biden. He incited a violent insurrection on our nations capital and people were injured and a few died because of his refusal to concede. He campaigned while facing criminal indictments related to his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Lastly but as important as all other facts stated here, he ran as a 34-count convicted felon, and he still won the election. During the campaign, he has vowed to be an authoritarian leader. He claims that if he is elected, he will be a dictator on day one. He vowed to release from jail, all of the people arrested for the insurrection for breaking into the capital on January 6, 2020.
What does this say about the electorate. To me, it says that the people have made a clear choice. They have decided that they are willing to put up with Trump’s nonsense for the next 4 years. To get the full details, you may want to seriously read ‘Project 2025’.
But if you don’t want to take the time to read it, here are just a few things that Donald J. Trump claims he wants to do instead, especially now that he has presidential immunity on his side, making him a vary dangerous president.
First let me preface my following statements of what Trump said during his speech while he was about to win the election. From the start, it was a lie, telling his supporters that he won the election, when only 266 electoral votes were called for him. This time it was predicted on Fox, which was their sucking up to Donald Trump for calling the loss in 2020 before any other network. But Trump just couldn’t wait. He had to lie again, which is something he will now do more often then ever, with presidential immunity riding on his back. True, he was only 4 votes away from winning when he was telling the world that he won, and there was a very good chance that he would win the 3 electoral votes from Alaska, and a single electoral vote from the state of Maine from a district that most always votes for the Republican. That would have taken him to 270 electoral votes which is what he needed to become president elect. Instead, before that could even happen, the Democratic BLUE WALL to include Wisconsin fell in his column, taking him over the top. He was now at 276 electoral votes. All future wins now, will just be icing on the cake for Trump. Nothing else counts.
He will immediately fire Jack Smith, putting a halt to all criminal prosecutions over his attempts to overturn his election defeat and retention of classified documents after leaving office, as he says, “within two seconds” after being sworn in. Personally, I believe that Jack Smith will resign before Trump takes office. Judge Cannon, who dismissed his classified documents case on the heals of the Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity, most likely will now get a job in his Cabinet, most likely the next Attorney General.
Trump will have the authority to shut down all federal cases against him. but he will not have the same control over the hush money case or Georgia’s prosecution of him for trying to overturn his 2020 loss in that state. But because he will be the sitting president, he most likely will not face any legal consequences in either case during his term in office. But he will again face prosecution after his term in 2028. That may be a long time, but eventually justice will be served. The question is how much will the country suffer under his authoritarian control for he next four years, and does he even have plans to step out of office in four years knowing that he will be prosecuted when he leaves office. Trump is the now the oldest sitting president in U.S. history.
First, Trump will take away the rights of each state to handle abortion the way that they have decided to, and he will outlaw it in ever state. He claims that he will allow the states handle the issue as they deem fit in their state, but Trump will want to exercise his authoritarian control of the country by creating an executive order outlawing abortions nationwide. He can do this because it is under the purview of his executive immunity, and he could never be prosecuted in the future, regardless of how many women die from being denied health care in the case o a woman needing an abortion to live. Even if they die, he can never be prosecuted for that official office that falls under the purview of his office, to sign an executive order into law. Trump should now be considered a king. Especially don’t ever expect Trump to consider what women want, even though during the election in one of his last speeches he claimed that he is the protector of women.
Second, he will impose tariffs, proposing a 60% fee on imports from China, and at last 10% on all other imports into the U.S. Someone who is so high on the idea of imposing tariffs, still hasn’t a clue as to what that means for the American consumer of products that came into this country with tariffs attached. The consumer will pay the 60% fee on imports from China and the 10% of everything else coming into the country. So Trump claims he is rescuing the economy and that is one reason why he won the election. But now Americans will pay for the tariffs imposed, not China or any other foreign country, just like Trump said in his first term that he would force Mexico to pay for the wall, but instead, what he built was paid for by the taxpayers.
Trump promised to launch the “largest deportation program in American history” and end sanctuary cities by cutting federal funding to sanctuary jurisdictions. He claims this will start on day one, and he plans to close the border.
He will protect gun rights. He opposes gun restriction laws, which means many more people will be killed by “weapons of war”.
The list is long, and I really don’t know where to start.
As mentioned earlier in this article, On day 1 , “we will begin the largest deportation operation in American history.”
On his very first day back in the White House, he will terminate every single open border policy of the Biden-Harris administration, and will seal the border.
He claims “drill baby drill.”
He claims “we will end inflation and make America affordable again.” My question is how can you end inflation or keep costs down if you will have to tax the people you are trying to protect from inflation to pay the tariffs that you claim need to be paid? The exporter, will not have to pay the tax, but the consumer that purchases a product with an incoming tariff will have to pay the tax. It makes no sense.
He plans to “terminate the Green New Scam” and end the electric vehicle mandate. This will guarantee that the United States will loose its footing on being a top country in producing carbonless vehicles. Instead, he would rather pollute the air, make global warming worse, while at the same time claim that global warming is not happening and we are safe.
He will begin fracking he claims on day one.
He says he wants to pass a massive tax cut for workers that include no tax on tips, not to mention that he wants to further lower corporate taxes while the 2017 tax cuts he gave to corporations will not expire. The national debt will continue to explode, even though he claims that only he knows how to balance the budget. If that was so true, why did he file bankruptcy at least a half a dozen of times?
He plans to “revoke China’s most favored nation status.” This was granted by President George W. Bush in 2001, so if he implements this, China trade terms will no longer be as good as any other trading partner with the U.S.
He claims that he will pass the Trump Reciprocal Trade Act, which means that if China or any other country makes the U.S. pay a 100 or 200 percent tariff or tax, the U.S. will make them pay a reciprocal tariff or tax of 100 or 200 percent immediately. So how does this work. That would mean that China or any other country could now opt out of making goods for the United States and national imports will be at an all-time low.
He claims to also have the ability to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, while also preventing World War III. He “will restore peace through strength. With his strength, he believes as the most powerful person in the world, he can do anything. If that were the case, why did so many people die from Covid under his watch?
He claims that the U.S. will build a great Iron Dome missile defense shield over the country, the likes of which no one has ever seen before, and it will be entirely made in the USA. It’s just another avenue he can take for the country to go more in debt an to tax Americans more.
Trump claims that he will not cut one penny from Social Security or Medicare, and he will no raise the retirement age, but he will do everything in his power to kill Obamacare, even though he is on record saying ” I have a concept of a plan” in a Harris/Trump recent debate, even though he admits to not having a plan.
He promises to keep the U.S. out of wars. He claims that he can resolve the war in Ukraine on his first day in office, which would be January 20, 2025. How would that be possible. The country is pretty certain now that he has been communicating with Putin during the presidential run from Mara-Lago. My guess would be that he will cut a deal with Putin, telling him that he would be the negotiator between him and the leader of Ukraine. This would get Putin off the hook from the war. He will convince the leader of Ukraine that he must end retaliation against Russia immediately, and that he would have to accept the loss of lands taken by Russia, and if he doesn’t do so, that he will stop all aide to Ukraine and Putin will take what he wants when Ukraine can no longer defend itself because they have no more weapons from the U.S.
He claims that “WOKE LEADERS” in the military will be gone. He says he will get rid of them so fast.
He claims that the country will rebuild cities into “beacons of hope, safety and beauty better than they’ve ever been before.”
He “will take over the horribly run capital of our nation, Washington, D.C. and clean it up, renovate it, rebuild it.”
He will sign an executive order that cuts federal funding “for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity and other inappropriate racial, sexual or political content onto the shoulders of our children.”
He will defund any school that has a vaccine or mask mandate. Our children will no longer be able to get vaccines in schools or masks for that matter.
He “will keep men out of women’s sports.” He plans to end gay marriages, outlawing LGBTQ practices. He plans to eliminate gays that are in military service.
He plans to fully uphold the Second Amendment of the Constitution which means that he will oppose most, if not all new restrictions on gun usage and ownership. That means that many more children will die in school shootings while Trump is in office.
He claims by doing all of the above he will protect innocent life. Really?/?
He claims country will restore, very quickly, free speech. When did we not have free speech? But he is going to restore something that we already have.
He claims he will secure our elections. That will mean only same day voting, paper ballots and proof of citizenship and voter identification will be required for everyone. Good luck on that one.
Needless to say, but of course I will say it here anyway, the country is in for a shock, The citizens of the U.S. didn’t learn from Trump’s first term in office, and now all Americans must endure him once again. The question is whether democracy last, and will the country ever recover from Trump’s second term in office.

Today was a historic day in history. It is Sunday, July 21, 2024. President Joe Biden made a historic decision to step out of the race for President for his second term. He made a profound, selflessness personal sacrifice with handing off the torch to Kamala Harris. Biden has only been in office for three and a half years, and he made the courageous decision to step down, which he now believes is in the best interest of the country. As he made this decision, he immediately endorsed his Vice President, Kamala Harris, who has already accepted Joe Biden’s request to be the Democratic nominee to run against a 34-count felon named Donald Trump who was selected at the recent Republican Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with J.D. Vance from Ohio as his running mate. The announcement was made by President Biden at 1:46 PM this afternoon. Kamala is rapidly gaining support from many of the Senators and others. She will be formally named and will accept to be the candidate of the Democratic Party very soon.
Obviously, she is running against Donald J. Trump. Her nomination is proof that we are in very interesting and exciting times for the Democratic Party. If the party is unified around Harris and proceeds with current plans for a pre-convention virtual roll call, then Harris would be formally nominated before Aug. 7.
