Today,  on the very first day of its term, the U.S. Supreme Courts’ first order of business was to allow women to die in Texas. They just made a ruling that Texas cannot be required by the Biden administration to follow the emergency medical procedure law to give a woman in an emergency room an abortion, even if it’s going to save her life. They can provide the abortion if they want to, but under strict penalties from the law. This can only mean that many more women will die that didn’t have to, because the doctors will be afraid to perform ANY abortion.  If they provide the abortion before the patient is even near death, they stand a chance to lose funding and the doctors who provide the abortions can be prosecuted.

So Texas is now in play for a Democratic takeover in the upcoming elections. Women will retaliate. The Republicans continue to pass Draconian laws that hurt people, especially women, in this Texas case.

How many more women have to die in the state of Texas before lawmakers right the ship so that women can practice their right to just live. The laws now being enforced by states like Georgia and now Texas are sick.

The United States is a place that is supposed to be safe, but for women, it has become the least safe and now a very dangerous place to live for women. For these crazy laws to be enacted less than 30 days before an election is just plain stupid. The states that enact these Draconian bans on women will feel the woman’s wrath during this year’s election.

Actually, there is one good thing that will come out of all this. Most states, especially the ones that are not allowing a woman the right to choose when it comes to their bodily autonomy, most likely will turn BLUE (Democratic). Now, not even Texas is safe from Democratic rule. I predict a total whitewash in the upcoming State House and State Senate races during the upcoming elections. Only time will tell, just 27 days to the election, to be exact.
